The register in practice

One body of research, two registers

Commoning's sources and research records sit alongside the Eo1. The research that precedes and grounds both projects sits in the middle. On one side are the sources it draws on; on the other, the register it produced and the works that register now holds. Every entry is attested on-chain.

The register is the cluster's memory. It holds what has been read, what has been produced, and how each is connected to what came before. What the register holds is the fact of a work and the trace of its lineage.

Each node is a work. Each line is a derivation — a claim that one work draws on another. Hover a node to see its immediate relations; click to open the corresponding record in the register.
